Charlie is almost five months old now, boy does time fly! He has been an absolutely amazing pup, the only downfall is that I never want to leave for work because of how awesome he in, I am so in love!! He loves chewing on his rawhide-free puppy bones, playing fetch with his ball or toys, rough housing with one of his million stuffed toys (he has actually become best friends with some of them), rolling his treat ball around and figuring out the certain ways he has to roll or stomp on it so he can get a treat out, he also loves stealing socks and running under the bed where we can’t get him, and snuggling he is a HUGE snuggler, which I love!! He is also fully potty trained!
He started his puppy obedience class at the end of February and passed in March, with flying colors! He is so smart, for every trick or behavior we taught him it only took him about five times before he actually learned it and would do it on command!
I wanted to continue working with him, especially because I think he would be a wonderful therapy dog, so in April we started taking the Canine Good Citizen class. We were having a little trouble in the beginning because the material was so advanced I was worried that maybe we signed him up too soon. But, with much needed practice and with the help of Kierre and my family we slowly but surely started to get it. Well, test day was this past Tuesday and HE PASSED!!! I can’t even explain how proud I am of him, he sure showed me that he was definitely not too young! He is now Charlie Cayez CGC!! The picture we took that day is attached.
We have registered Charlie with AKC and we plan on going even further with him, signing him for classes, etc.! I can’t wait to see what he has in store for him, he is just such an amazing dog. We couldn’t be more proud of the puppy that he is today, he works so hard everyday! We can’t thank you enough for introducing us to our best friend. I can’t even imagine what life was like before him now :-).
Today he was at the vet to get neutered, I have been worried sick but we just got the call that he did wonderful (I should have already known that)! I will pick up all of the documentation that your company needs and get that off to you well before the 6 month mark.
Thank you again for everything that you have done, you haven’t just made our day, you have truly made our lives 🙂 and made our hearts so much bigger!
