About Magnificent Mutts
Mission Statement
Magnificent Mutts Rescue strives
to rescue and care for any breed of abandoned, abused, or neglected dog or
cat until we can find them a loving forever home. About Us Magnificent Mutts Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit animal shelter founded in 2001 by Linda Latelle. When Linda was a child, she begged her parents for a dog. Once they gave in, she then begged for another dog, at that time her parents put their foot down. They told her, "When you get married and have your own house, you can have as many dogs as you want." Well she took that to heart and began volunteering and fostering for various rescues in the area. That is until she made her dream a reality and formed Magnificent Mutts Rescue.
We are a group of dedicated volunteers who provide love, hope, and a safe
sanctuary to animals in need. Some
of our volunteers transport, foster, feed, and train our rescued animals.
Other volunteers help with organizing adoption events, paperwork,
fundraising, creating flyers and various other marketing media to promote our

Who are the Magnificent Mutts? **Magnificent Mutts is an all volunteer rescue organization. We do not have a building or shelter. If you would like to make arrangements to adopt a specific dog, please fill out an application or email us. All the animals you see posted on petfinder.com and on our website all reside in foster homes until they are adopted.** If you have a specific question
