This series is dedicated to helping our community get to know the dedicated and selfless human beings that keep Magnificent Mutts Rescue running.

1) How long have you been with Magnificent Mutts?
About 13 I think.
2) As a volunteer, what do you do for MM?
These days I mostly just help with the website. But, my family has fostered many dogs, cats, and even a few rabbits.
3) What is your favorite or most memorable MM experience or story?
When my GSD (from Mag Mutts), Quorra, was a helper for an education event for kids. I spent weeks working with her to make sure she would be good with the kids and she was a rock star.
4) Do you have a favorite dog breed or dog type?
Do cats count? I love most cats I’ve met.
For dogs, I love German Shepherd Dogs mostly but, I also like little white dogs and Chihuahuas.
5) What are your hobbies or what do you like to do for fun?
Gaming, reading/watching sci-fi and cyberpunk stuff, and hanging out with our chickens.
6) What advice would you give adopters?
Do your research on breeds before adopting and give it time. It can take some dogs longer than others to acclimate to a new environment.
7) Do you have any pets of your own?
Yes, dogs, cats, and chickens (don’t tell the dogs but the chickens are my favorite).
8) If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Tunisia to visit the Star Wars filming site for the Lars’ homestead on Tatooine.
9) What’s your favorite season of the year, and why?
Late spring or early summer. When it starts really warming up and I can work outside in the afternoons with my GSD and chickens.
10) Tell us your favorites…
Music: Thieves, Ministry, Industrial.
TV/movie: Star Wars (anything), Star Trek, anything cyberpunk like Bladerunner (or even Tron)
Food: Tacos, Sushi, and BBQ
Sports: Bears. I used to follow some F1 and other racing leagues but haven’t in a few years now.
